GREEN INITIATIVE
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination.
We began implementing sustainable practices because we consider sustainable business practices the ?right thing to do? and wish to position ourselves as leaders in the Southeast. Because of the US Green Building Counsel?s recognition as the foremost green building certification provider, we chose to take our already sustainably conscious operations to the next level using LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) as a framework.
In May of 2011, our Corporate Centre campus achieved LEED(R) Existing Building Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. This achievement has increased our commitment to be a green company. We encourage all of our team members and tenants to do the same, both on a corporate level and personal level. Some examples of our efforts for sustainability include: water efficiency, energy efficiency, maintaining indoor air quality, single stream recycling and electronic recycling.
